Can an antioxidant megadose (not overdose, but any OTC "megadose" vitamin) cause DNA damage? - vitamin megadoses lower cholesterol
This is one of the things that the famous Dr. Oz, took a day on television, and nobody heard him, as usual, and asked quotations or details. He said he has (up to 10,000 IU of vitamin A in a day compared to the 200% RDA), the antioxidant effect of the real cause of DNA damage.
I searched long and can not progress on this issue - very high doses of vitamin causing DNA damage - with the default search engine on the Internet. If anyone knows the truth about the large amounts of A? (I have not asked a simple vitamin A toxicity, by the way. I am aware.)
Thank you in advance if you can offer assistance.
